This and That

thatotherperv has begun a study of  vampire anatomy and physiology here, here and here. It's very interesting and I hope that she will continue with it. A little sidebar here: my one talent is that I can purr while holding my breath. I feel sure that vampires, who don't need to breathe, can do so too and for much longer.

Speaking of cats - a study has found that their ancestry can be traced back to the Middle East, not Egypt, as has been previously thought (read about it here).

I've been going through my old e-mails and came across this USA Geoquiz that was dated before I began my journal so I don't think I've posted this before (OTH I've just added an LJSeek link on my userinfo page so maybe I should use that to check *g*). I got 139 (out of 150 ) as my score which was made worse because a 10-year-old friend of mine got a perfect score :(   You can also test your knowledge of world geography there too.
