Whimsies

The other day I caught the last bit of an episode of a show called "Distant Shores", a British variation of "Northern Exposure". I immediately rcognized Peter Davison but who was that playing Charles? Why it was Gareth Thomas who I don't recall seeing since he played Roj Blake over 20 years ago. In the intervening years he grew old. When you don't see someone for a number of years it really can be shocking. How dare they age? *g*

Yesterday [livejournal.com profile] riani1 listed her top 5 guilty pleasure movies. I don't have any guilty pleasure movies. Instead I have comfort movies that I like to watch over and over again especially if I'm upset. Due to lack of money and space I only have a few store-bought tapes or DVDs. I also have several faves that I've taped off TV, usually cut and with ads. Then there are a few I haven't seen on TV in years and aren't out in any format.
