FYI

Yesterday Time magazine released it's list of 50 Best Websites. The site I'm heading over to investigate is Wotartist.com which is a beautiful introduction to artist websites from around the world. Listings are organized by region (Americas, U.K., Europe, Australia, Asia/Middle East) and directory pages list types and genres (sculpture, painting and photography; Figurative, Surrealism and Expressionism). They are clues that are to be explored—moused over, really—so you can discover who, and what, lies beyond. As a person who loves to icon things this site looks like a goldmine. Time also has lists of 25 Sites We Can't Live Without and 5 Worst Websites. Go take a look.

I only have LJ, GJ and Shelfari (which I really have to go work on one day) accounts. I love it that MySpace was declared one of the worst websites as I can't stand Rupert Murdoch. I also liked that Facebook was listed as one of the 25 Sites We Can't Live Without as I have a friend who's a somebody at Facebook *off to explore Wotartist*
