Well now that the fabulous lit_gal is writing Moon Magic, her Faith/Snape story (with Riley as a supporting character), I went to some HP sites to check out a few things and came across the full interview with JKR where she reveals that Dumbledore is gay. She revealed far more information like Neville Longbottom married Hufflepuff Hannah Abbott and she was to become the landlady at the iconic Leaky Cauldron Pub. I think people were so floored with the Dumbledore stuff that they just forgot the rest. I'm hardly surprised Neville married a Hufflepuff. I think in some ways he would have been happier in that house.
