I was reading [livejournal.com profile] nandibble's latest chapter of "Blood Price" when I came across this quote "the still center of the turning world" (Donne, Wordsworth, Elliot??). I just thought the imagery it invoked was so lovely. I collect quotes that are meaningful to me but I've been doing it for years and it's rare to find something new these days. I'm getting jaded *sigh*

Not James Marsters

Possibly Wordsworth...s'nice...I googled. I'm rubbish at googling.

... the still center of the turning world outside the limits of the earth itself,
... Honored in 1843 as England's Poet Laureate, Wordsworth combined the ...

I only collect James quotes.

Thanx, but it's just my user pic of me at SFX. That the one you mean? I must have clicked it to be default instead of my usual scrummy Spanders. Need to click back asap. Can't stand looking at my fizog to much. :D

That is a beautiful image. And I'm sorry that you're finding yourself jaded. If only I could get you hooked on Sentinel you could have a bright and shiny new world. le sigh.

The Sentinel

Since I don't get the Sci-Fi Channel at the mo I can't watch it. I dimly recall looking at it once or twice when it was on the air and not being terribly impressed. Sorry.

Oh heck, the show itself isn't great, but the interactions between the characters, and the way that Blair and Jim are developed more than makes up for the cheesy car chases and illogical police work. But don't worry about offending because most Sentinel fans freely admit the show had problems.

'Ere, bugger off! Stop persuading peeps to the dark side. Everybody should stay with Buffy/Angel. ;) Smallville is allowed though. :p
