Another Fashion Rant

wisteria_'s lj. It seems I'm not the only one thinking this crop of handbags is just ugly and monstrous (not that I could afford them anyway). It's so clear to me that the fashion industry is running out of steam. It's not that I care except for when those high-fashion ideas trickle down to street level and therefore wearable clothes and accessories that I like are hard to find. Twenty-five years from now we'll probably be able to enter a kiosk and have clothes made to order via CADCAM or something but until then we'll just have to make do *sigh*
