Play It Again, Sam

Just finished reading a delightful BtVS/AtS fic called Play It Again, Sam by elisi. It takes place in AtS S5 between "TGiQ" and "Power Play" when Riley and Sam Finn turn up in LA and there is reminiscing all round. I especially like Spike's take on his adventures/affair with Buffy.

You're welcome. I plan to continue posting reviews of my favorite fics but the next one up is long and what with the holidays and my birthday trip I'm having trouble finding the time to finish re-reading it. It'll be up soon though. In the meantime have you read Avocation (http://www.freewebs.com/enigmaticblue/avocation.htm) by enigmaticblues? It goes AU at the end of S2 as a souled Spike is hired by the PTB to protect Buffy. A very nice re-write of S3. Some of the other fics at her site also look interesting. To paraphrase Jeremy from "The Yellow Submarine": "So little time, so much to read." *sigh*

Shak, can you give the pairing when you rec? I only read certain ones.

Sorry. It really doesn't have a pairing beyond Sam/Riley and Angel/Nina. Spike saves Sam and Riley and takes them to W&H where he and Angel decide that the best revenge is to be nice to Riley. In the course of events Spike and the others reminisce about Buffy but she is not present so I don't think it can be considered S/B.
