It's "Too Darned Hot" - that's been running through my brain all day along with "We're having a heatwave, a tropical heatwave..." I inadvertently discovered something neat - last night I dug out a favorite tee shirt but it was all wrinkly so I took it into the shower and dampened it to get the wrinkles out. I hung it from the curtain rod high over the in-wall air-conditioner and this morning it was still slightly damp (though it wasn't noticeably so) and cold when I put it on. It kept me cool for some time. I'll probably do the same thing tonight.

Pssst! It also helps if you put your bra in the freezer overnight, and (if you have to dress in business clothes for work) your pantyhose.
