Great Archive Style

I was just over at All About Spike and it occured to me that it's probably the finest archive site that I've encountered in my 4 years of trawling the Buffyverse-on-the-Web for fanfics. I'm not talking about content (though it has a lot of great stories) but about format. It's easy to navigate and to read and you can change the type size easily. The fics have been categorized by title, author, pairing, episode (this is particularly unusual), rating, length, date and theme. There's also a couple of fic search pages available. It contains nearly 1000 stories and must have taken a tremendous amount of hard work. Unfortunately the archivist is "no longer updating this site very often due to lack of interest in Buffy fandom". Huh?? Anyway if anyone is thinking about creating an archive site they should take a look at All About Spike.

It's a good site, yes. She's primarily a Spuffy-ist but appreciates Spander as well, so long as it meets her criteria, which are blessedly high. I'm very grateful she left the site up when she decided to go on to other things. I should go over there and make copies of things. Once I'm done trolling Fiction Alley for decent Harry/Draco.
