Over the past couple of months I have made a few holiday icons and as we are now in the final rush toward Xmyth and the New Year I've decided to post them:
You have good taste - the base is a painting by Picasso. In a way my favorite is the angel/peace one. It actually is from a stamp that was released way back in 1995 that I loved and I went hunting all over the internet trying to find a good version to use. The Santababy was the easiest - I found it at msnbc and didn't have to do anything beyond framing it. Iconning can be quite addictive and you end up looking at every cute image to see if it's worth the attempt.
