Just came across this bit on Yahoo about Chinese feet binding. OMG I knew it once existed but I never saw clear photos of what exactly was involved. All those poor women down through the centuries - I'm glad that it's been outlawed yet I feel that stiletto high heels are the modern day equivalent :(
