Online Artists

Any budding artists out there? I came across a couple of sites that lets you create your own art in the style of a master:

Mr Picassohead : it supposedly lets you create a picture in the style of you-know-who. I couldn't get it to work for me but then I'm probably doing something wrong or it just doesn't feel like working on a Monday.

Jackson Pollock : this one easily works and is a lot of fun. You too can make your own drips and splotches in the style of JP.

Little Pine Lake

Yesterday we drove into Minnesota to visit friends at Little Pine Lake (this in no way gives away the location as there are 8 Little Pine Lakes in Minnesota *g*). They live in a cute little cabin that manages to sleep 12 though with only one bathroom it's very helpful that the guests tend to be all in the same family. However for our visit only the couple we knew were there this weekend. The husband took us on a tour of the lakeside residences in their motorboat. It was a nice mix of small cabins, regular houses, a few trailers and a couple of Mc Mansions (one that wouldn't seem out of place next to Buckingham Palace). My favorite was a medium-sized wood house that had double-decker screened-in porches (oh to sleep in one of them *sigh*).

We enjoyed a lovely dinner complete with the dessert we brought - a yummy chocolate-chip cheesecake we'd made the night before. We left after dinner in order to get back to Fargo to take care of the dawg who was very appreciative that his pack had returned - slobber, slobber.
