More Odds & Ends

For lovers of "Stargate SG-1": it may be going off the air but there are plans afoot to make at least 2 direct-to-DVD movies, with many of the original cast, after the show ends. Read about it here.

David Pogue, a contributor on tech stuff to the New York Times shows how you can make overseas calls for free (though only in the US). Read about it here. I wonder if it would work for Iraq? Think how great that would be for families with members serving there.
