Cell Phone Mania

The above cartoon is the perfect example of our modern crazy times. Back in the old days (was it only 10 years or so?) I would walk down the street and see an obviously disturbed individual shuffling along talking to him/herself. I would nervously keep an eye on the person (once a woman just walked up to me and slapped me) and consider whether I should walk on the other side of the street. Nowadays you can't escape people seemingly talking to themselves as they walk down the street and only with a careful perusal can I eventually spot the cellphone link. They're everywhere - today I walked down one street and every single person I passed (about 5 or 6) was on the cellphone. Now if I was a semi-rational crazy person I'd find a discarded cellphone and talk into it and then nobody could tell by my talking out loud whether I was crazy or not.
