shakatany: Sleeping woman plus moon and stars (My Favorite Vampires)
Friday night I watched the final (?) episode of "Moonlight" this season. At long last the creators began to expand on their vampire lore as they established a "royal bloodline" with 7 vampire siblings, one of whom is Coraline, so Mick turns out to be royal. These vampires are apparently superior to the "baser" bloodlines like Josef's who appeared to wish to avoid them even though he is older. I also didn't know that the real reason for the French Revolution was to get rid of vampires *g* Mick is now (temporarily?) human, though like Angel in "I Will Remember You", I think he will find that it's not as great as he expected it to be. Anyone know if there'll be a second season?

For many years I've been interested in UFOs, an interest I inherited from my father. Until Saturday night's episode of "MonsterQuest" on the History Channel I didn't know that there were these rod-shaped thingies flying around. People would take photos or film something and it wasn't until they saw the developed images that they would discover that there'd been these rod-shaped objects flying around at the time. Some of them could be explained as flying insects caught on film, moving in a way that made them unidentifiable and rodlike but others were left still unexplained. One of the people interviewed was a Dr. Hu which always cracked me up as I heard his name as Doctor Who *g*
