Hey everyone - if you have a clear sky tonight go outside to gaze at the largest full moon of 2009. It's partly cloudy here and tomorrow (when I travel home) we may have snow so I fear I will miss it so take a good look at it for me.

In a spacey, sci-fi vein I saw the funniest vid where someone remade a trailer for Terminator into a love story. Gah what would we do without YouTube these days for information and entertainment? Speaking of entertainment there's a cute vid of a mother cat nursing a panda cub - I wonder what the kittens think of their sibling.

Go you think your cat might be doing this? I have a strange feeling that my cousin's cat wishes she could do that to me *sigh*

Today we went to the Museum of Science which is the kind of place that one could/should spend the whole day in but we only had a couple of hours. I wanted to see the sky show at the Planetarium but this was sort of a spur of the moment escapade and we arrived too late. Still I saw a replica of the Apollo capsule (and boy was it small) and an Enigma machine. The Enigma was a German code-making apparatus that the English acquired early on and so were able to read the German messages sent by the German Army - an invaluable aid to defeating the Third Reich. Afterward we had a small repast at the S&S Restaurant. We then headed back to my cousin's house where eventually her stepdaughter joined us in making dinner. I made the Crash Hot Potatoes that I've been dying to make since I read about them in someone's LJ, my cousin made the creamed spinach and the stepdaughter made a delicious steak with lemon pepper. We had a lovely meal followed by the last of the fruit tart and to top it off my cousin's hubby did the clean up.

The big question is my journey home. A snowstorm has begun and there's no way of knowing now if my train will be running on time tomorrow morning. Oh well I guess I'll just carry on as if I am leaving on time and I'll see what's happening when I wake up.
