Well yesterday's teabag movement was something of a wipeout though the loonies are certainly coming out of the woodwork (and part of me won't mind if Texas secedes but 49 is such an awkward number *g*). The best quote of the day was by Anderson Cooper:
David Gergen: Well, they've got the teabagging, but there was an interesting Politico survey that was out today that said that, you know, the president's—the trust level in the president on economic issues is extremely high, and, you know, everybody else in the administration is well below him, but the Republicans are a little below that. So, Republicans have got a way—they still haven't found their voice, Anderson. They're still—this happens to a minority party after it's lost a couple of bad elections. But they're searching for their voice.
Anderson Cooper: It's hard to talk when you're teabagging.
I'm so ignorant I had to look up what was so funny about teabagging when Rachel Maddow cracked up about it a week or so ago.
