Remember that there's been a lot of hacking here on LJ recently? Well it could be a precursor of what's been happening on Facebook - those "Nigerian" scammers are trying something new since the word went out on that scam and are now hijacking other people's Facebook accounts to ask for "emergency" money. I don't know if they would come here as LJ is less visible then Facebook or MySpace but since I know some of you are on Facebook and it could happen here, it doesn't hurt to be aware that this devious ploy is out there.
