Loved this article on America's Lost Decade at the Daily Kos. Actually I think this all began with Reagan and his push for less regulation, lower taxes on the wealthy and the campaign against unions. Hopefully we'll soon see the splintering of the Rethuglican party and the end any hope for any sort of Reaganomics to happen again (at least in my lifetime). There was a reason many of these regulations were put in place during the Depression. As Santayana said, Those who cannot learn from history are doomed to repeat it. We didn't learn so we repeated the mistakes from early in the 20th century. Hopefully it will not be repeated a second time in the 21st century.
