According to this there are more women on the internet in the U.S. then men. I think it's an encouraging thing and if we can expand this to other parts of the world we may be able to make our voices heard in ways the patriarchy never dreamed.
I think it's because we do like to communicate and build communities.

Just wondered if you could see last Friday's feedback. I always do it on 'private' so just me can see it, then I check the links and if they're okay, then I go 'public' but since I've been doing this, I'm not sure if peeps ever do 'see' it! Stupid LJ.
Do you mean your Friday Recs? It popped up nicely on my Friends Page and I found a link to one of your lost fics albeit a day or two later as I can't get that much computer time these days.
