If anyone wants to play some online games an intriguing site is Good Experience which collects free games from all over the web.
Came across a blog with an entry for Bacon Chocolate Chip Cookies with Maple Cinnamon Glaze which is a combination I would never have thought of, though a friend says she has heard of it before. Since the blog is titled Never Bashful with Butter (sounds like someone Julia Child would like) it looks like a great site to explore if/when I next have the chance to cook and bake.
I found a link to a review of the first "Torchwood" episode of the new season titled Kiss, Kiss, Bang, Bang guest starring our James Marsters. It says Finally, in James Marsters, the series has found a truly spectacular guest star. Swaggering out of the rift like an escapee from a glam-rock convention, his Captain John is Jack with no moral compunctions, an utterly charming, utterly ruthless sociopath who is more concerned with keeping himself amused than doing the right thing. He sparks off every team member fantastically well (The confrontation between him and Ianto is a particular standout) and his cocky, swaggering delivery really helps with the episode's breakneck pace. That's our boi *g*
Gah I'm such a geek. Last night I was watching a show, either "Without a Trace" (no JM though) or "Law and Order: Criminal Intent", and there's a mention that someone goes to Stanhope College which I knew to be the alma mater of Linda Lee Danvers aka Supergirl. I still remember this even tough it's been decades since I read the comic books and I can barely remember what I did yesterday *sigh*
ETA: I'm a fremen - read what inspired that here.
