My Saturday (so far)

I went this morning to the Post Awful and mailed most of my packages - Saturday morning is usually the time when you get a teller right away or after just a short wait on line. I try to avoid weekdays.
I read an ad in Publisher's Weekly for a book called Porn for New Moms from the Cambridge Women's Pornography Coop (?!?). I have no idea if it's serious or satire or what but the title and where it's from is giggle-worthy.
I just found out that "Lost" will return in January NOT in its usual Wednesday night timeslot but on Thursdays at 9 pm opposite "Supernatural" and "CSI". What with "Without a Trace" (and it's occasional glimpses of James Marsters) being opposite "Law and Order: Criminal Intent" I'm going to be busy figuring out which shows to watch and which to record on my VCR. I think it's my busiest viewing night of the week.
Last night's ep of "Moonlight" was interesting for it's idea of a failed turning with Sara doing the "Sleeping Beauty" (that's the name of the episode) bit for over 50 years. However the part with Ralf Martan was not well thought out - he kills 2 cops in LA and there's nothing about it in the news to alert our heroes especially since Beth works for a news website and you'd think she'd check in once in a while - sheesh.
entrenous88 recently made a post about Insane Journal offering a permanent account for $35. I always thought that IJ was invitation only but I guess that phase is over and it's now open to everyone so I made a free (so far) account over there just in case LJ really is screwed up by its new Russian owners and all my friends head over there. My IJ account gives me 100 free userpics so that's also a nice bonus though I want to make sure they won't lose them like Greatest Journal which just lost some more of my icons so I'm not very happy with it :(
