shakatany | Is society ready for this pregnant husband?

I came across this first person article by a female-to-male husband who's legally male and married but who decided, since the wife is unable to have children, to have a child. In this brave new world where the boundaries of male and female are blurring on all fronts, culturally and biologically, this is apparently stirring up all sorts of opposition from so-called normals :( I must admit it's a bit strange to see a male with a beard and a pregnant belly but I find this fascinating and plan to keep an eye out for further developments (the baby girl is due on July 3). I certainly wish the new family my best.
