shakatany | I've Still Got It *g*

I actually felt fine today which was rather surprising as yesterday I rented a bicycle and rode the great loop in Central Park with a friend which I haven't done in decades. We rode up to about 110th Street then headed west, then south until about 60th Street then headed east and back up to where we entered the park. I admit to dismounting and walking the bike up a few hills but all in all I was able to do it - peddle around 6 miles or so - and didn't end up with aching muscles today. It also helped that the weather was partly cloudy and only in the 70s - I probably couldn't have done it if the temperature was any higher or it was humid. It really was rather gratifying that I still could do something like that after all that time.

I saw in the news that George Takei and Brad Altman, who've been together 21years, were the first to get a marriage license In West Hollywood and plan to have the wedding in September with Walter Koenig as best man and Nichelle Nichols as the matron of honor. Don't know yet if Leonard Nimoy or William Shatner will be attending. Hurray for the happy couple.
