HP Overload
Jul. 23rd, 2007 02:16 pmYou know there's been too much about Harry Potter when you read a headline in the NY Times which says HP to Buy Software Firm Opsware and you think what would Harry Potter want with software *g*?
The Associated Press reported that Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows sold a record 8.3 million copies in its first 24 hours on sale in the United States. When you add in figures from around the world and all the sales in years to come that's a lot of forests being sacrificed to the wizard. Will we ever see a publishing phenomenon like the Harry Potter series again?
In other news they're adding two female characters to the cast of Supernatural (read here). I don't know what Katie Cassidy looks like but considering that she's the daughter of David Cassidy (and boy did I have a crush on him way back when) and the granddaughter of Jack, I expect she'll be a stunner.
