100 Notable Books of the Year

The New York Times has published its list of 100 Notable Books of the Year. It's a sad state of affairs when the only book on it that I've read was Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows and the only book I'd like to read is The House That George Built: With a Little Help From Irving, Cole, and a Crew of About Fifty By Wilfrid Sheed. Maybe I should stop reading Spander so I'd have more time to read the so-called good books?
