Friday Night, Vampire Night
Nov. 24th, 2007 02:29 pmLast night's ep of "Moonlight" was fairly interesting but raises a few questions. Were 18th century courtesans branded with a fleur de lis (I tried Google but got zilch)? If "Morgan" dies will Beth be a murderer considering that Coraline first died 400 years ago? And how did she return - if she was reincarnated wouldn't she be about 4-5 years younger than Beth? If she was magically transported from her "death" scene" and somehow became human why hasn't she aged in the intervening years? And finally why is the name Coraline suddenly so prevalent as I don't think I've ever heard of it before this show and now I discover Neil Gaiman has a book out by that name (soon to be an animated movie)?
In "Blood Ties" I had a slight sense of deja vu as the villain was a bit like Ampata from "Inca Mummy Girl" (BtVS) and the Wraith from "Star Gate: Atlantis". BTW does anyone know if Victoria's demon marks are from the books (I read them too long ago to recall) or are original with the TV series?
I don't think there were any previews of new eps - does that mean the writers' strike has now caught up with the shows or is it just the annual holiday repeats?
