Yesterday

Yesterday I had lunch with a friend I haven't seen in about a year. We ate at Smorgas Chef and I had duck with cloudberry sauce - yummmmy! I wore my black velour jeans, red velvet shirt, my "emerald" jewelry suite (to make it Xmas-y) and my new black leather boots that cost $48.99 at Payless. They look terrific, are comfortable and, because I take care of my stuff, they are classic enough to wear for several years. My friend was celebrating the sale of his company and will now commence globetrotting. It's nice to see that some people are able to realize their dreams *sigh*
