Well today is Good Ridddance Day (who decides such things?). An industrial-size shredder has been set up in Times Square for people bring things to shred. This supposedly helps banish the memories. If it does, I'm all for it.

For something upbeat read MSNBC's Happiest Stories of 2007 which includes the story of Honey the Golden Retriever who nursed a kitten which I think I posted here. I'm sure, for someone somewhere in the world, 2007 was a good year but for several of my friends it was an annus horribilis :( May 2008 be a better one for us all.
