As you may have guessed I like vampires (*g*) so last night I watched, ready for it?,..."The Librarian: The Curse of the Judas Chalice". Stana Katic (from "Quantum of Solace") played Simone Renoir, a nice vampire who guarded a clue leading to the chalice which resurrects dead vampires (at least those, who for some reason, aren't dust). The movie was full of such contradictions and absurdities and Dracula (the one who was to be resurrected) was played by, of all people, Bruce Davison. It was vampire-lite and will be forgotten by me very quickly as there was nothing for me to get my teeth into and inspire my imagination :(

I quite fancied that! :( I've no idea who Bruce Davison is.

He's been guesting around for almost 40 years. He gets steady work but never a breakout role. You might have seen him in a few things but never remembered him - see his page at http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0001117/

Oh of course! He's one of those actors, you never know their names, but they seem to be everywhere and are familiar faces.

Back in the day when I was a heavy TV watcher I loved to find guest stars that appealed to me and keep an eye out for them to see what would become of them. I recall watching an ep of "Murder She Wrote" and seeing this really cute guy, noting his name. I didn't see much of him for a few years and then ER came on and there he was...George Clooney. The rest is history.

I used to watch him in Roseann but he didn't really stand out for me. I think he's a lovely fella but would never 'fancy' him, not like James. Some peeps do stand out when you first see them onscreen, you just knew Brad Pitt was gonna be big on seeing him in Thelma and Louise...never liked him though and after he betrayed Jen I don't like him at all! Not that I take all this star stuff seriously mind... ;)
