When I read a report of a burglar held captive by a ghost I immediately thought of Dennis from AtS. I wonder what ever happened to Dennis - is he continuing to haunt that apartment or has he gone on to his heavenly reward?

The other day I came across this set of snarky reviews of the Twilight books by stoney321 , a "recovering Mormon" who reveals how beliefs of the Mormon faith permeate the books. I didn't want to read them before but now I wouldn't read them if they were the last books on Earth...maybe (I think I may be too addicted to the printed word to resist *sigh*)

Well I'm thinking that in Malaysia they may take ghosts very seriously or that he was drunk and possibly being a Moslem which would make that a nono, he went with the ghost story

eird about the ghost and the burglar...and thanks for the Stoney link. While not really knowing anything about Mormons I always thought they were okay. Am I wrong then? The Osmonds are Mormons aren't they? They seem a nice family and that nice boy that used to play the drums in James' band, he went on a mission... I'm confused now but that happens a lot and isn't Twilight this new film everybody's going on about? I was gonna go see it with sisters...

Well IMO the LDS are a bunch of male-chauvinists who used to practice polygamy and still do in certain areas even though it's been outlawed. Until the 60s (I think) blacks weren't admitted. They are fairly well organized and recently used their influence to support Proposition 8 in California taking away the right of gays to be married :(

Twilight is a popular vampire series with teenage girls written by a woman who knows nothing about vampires so it's not for me (or Spike - see my icon)

Well you learn something everyday! Those young men are so polite though when they come round the doors. I'm disappointed now. :(

I shall still go and see the film. Want to see what all the fuss is about. Sparkling lol.
