Wow she was wonderful - she had Amanda in tears (Amanda even kissed Simon when he said how wonderful Connie was).

I see she won the contest that year, and rightly so. DAYUM! She's not only got the voice, but also the body language and facial expressions of an adult, professional R&B female artist when she sings. And then she stops singing and turns back into a little prepubescent girl. Amazing and adorable! I loved the bit where we see her backstage and she's playing with a Slinky. *g*

Thanks for that Shak. I'd been wanting to see it since my sisters and our friend Marie were all agog in the car on the way to car boot Sunday, animatedly talking about her. She was fantastic wasn't she? We know how to wow them in Britain. ;)
