Arlen Specter has just announced that he is turning Democrat!! Now once Al Franken is seated the Dems will have their 60 filibuster-proof seats - yay!!

Lol. I'm not really into politics but of course I should be. Everybody should be. I saw a snippet of the News earlier...what on Earth was the President doing flying so low over your fair city!!! :O

Everybody should be I was pretty lackadaisical until Dubya went batshit crazy. I first thought when he was elected that we'd just wait 4 years until America came to its senses with the next election - after all how much harm could he do in 4 years? Little did I know that 9/11 would happen and he'd drag us into war, allow torture, ignore the Constitution and try to become king. From now on I am keeping a very close eye on politics and politicians.

It wasn't the president. Some idiot at the White House gave permission for some stupid photo op without notifying the public :(
