shakatanyWell last night's "Lost" episode was rather interesting. I'm going to post my speculations and possible spoilers behind this .
I loved the way the 3 women went off on a adventure on their own. Now we know that Hurley is maintaining his weight by gulping down Ranch salad dressing but what is little Aaron eating? If Claire is breastfeeding him how can she go traipsing off into the jungle? I doubt there's a breastpump on the island and even if there was I don't think there's a refrigerator to store the milk in. Did Dharma Industries conveniently put some baby formula in their supplies? And diapers? and Desitin etc (babies have so many needs)?
I liked that this week's flashback had to do with the island, filling in the missing time in Claire's abduction. Ethan & co. must have kept her pretty drugged as wasn't the reason that Claire withdrew from the adoption the warning that she must be the one to raise Aaron? How else could she consider giving him to Ethan? The whole needle in the belly reminded me of Betty Hill's memories of being abducted by aliens in The Interrupted Journey
Is the girl who helped Claire really Rousseau's Alex? I hope so.
I find Henry Gale's name a little too obvious--it was the name of Dorothy's uncle in "The Wizard of Oz" where the wizard was carried off in a balloon (at least in the movie). Apparently there really are the remains of a balloon on the island. See here.
Some spoilers hint at a link between Hurley and Libby (though she may be one of the Others).
As my mind wandered it came up with this silly idea: I don't think organization behind skullduggery in "Surface" was ever named so maybe they're part of whatever is going on and while the survivors traipse around the island the southeast coast of America has been devastated by a humongous tsunami. I so want Nim to wash up on the island *g*
