Egypt Stuff
Jun. 15th, 2006 02:47 pmI had lunch with a friend at the Metropolitan Museum of Art then went to see the exhibit on Hatshepsut, the female Pharoah of the 18th Dynasty of Ancient Egypt. Incredibly I once knew a woman from the Phillippines who looked exactly like her! I love the 18th Dynasty as I grew up reading books like Shadow Hawk by Andre Norton, Mara, Daughter of the Nile by Eloise Jarvis McGraw, The Lost Queen of Egypt by Lucile Morrison and Dawn Falcon by Ann Moray. Later I found this site to send him An Ancient Egyptian eCard as a thank you note.
