shakatanySpent the day roaming the internet and came across two great posts.
One isbaylor_w's amusing commentary on The Ten Commandments; the other I found through that post. It's an essay on The Other People who apparently do not suffer from Original Sin as they are not descended from Adam and Eve. Both essays are amusing and thought-provoking.

Date: 2006-07-30 04:26 pm (UTC)Ha! I know the second guy, indirectly; I was a member of a church he founded for about seven years. This essay and a few others he wrote seriously influenced my religious thinking. He's also done the best rendition of the Mother Earth concept I've ever seen; it's at http://www.mythicimages.com .
