Picky, Picky, Picky

There once was a comedian named Billy de Wolfe who's favorite puchline was "Picky, picky, picky". That's me. I am so very picky about many things like fashion (most of the stuff out right now I so dislike) and the things I read. I've decided that I will rec only one of my favorite BtVS fanfics (or sometimes more if they are by the same author) per post and explain why I like it/them (not always that easy). Most will be Spander, most, though not all, will be long fics (don't get me started about drabbles and such) and they will be the ones that stick in my memory for a long time after I've read them--too many flow in one lobe and out the other.

I've been reading BtVS fanfic since S6 (2001) beginning with Spuffy then Spangel and finally falling into Spander (note the Sp for Spike in each pairing--he could bite my neck anytime *grin*). I think I can safely say that I've read thousands of fics and, because of my pickiness, only a few dozen or are memorable enough to have become my favorites.

Meant to write only a few dozen or SO are memorable. Forgive me I'm still new at all this and will have to figure out how that ETA thing works some day *sigh*.

Drabbles grow on you Shak. I used to dislike them muchly, but I've been sucked in by their allure. :p You can edit a post by clicking on that little pencil thingy at the top. I click on that a lot. ;)

Sorry I don't think drabbles will ever grow on me. They are simply too forgettable. Honestly a day after you read one can you remember it?

Yes, sometimes, if they're good. Witling's latest one with VK and Sander Xander was exquisite and that one with Angelus enraptured with Will's lips but forbidden to act by Darla, so he smashed poor William's face into a table. The despicable tyrant! Grrr. I like drabbles now *blushes*
