CBS has decided to play with us - we are going to get "Jericho" in 2 distinct mini-seasons without repeats (like "Lost"). The current one will end on Nov. 29th with a cliffhanger, there'll be a 10-week hiatus and then it will return on Feb. 14 with a recap episode followed on the 21st by an original ep dealing with the town before the disaster and I assume the rest of the original eps of the season. Read about it here. I don't know if it's such a good idea (it appears the cliffhanger won't be resolved until the 28th) but what do I know about broadcast programming strategy? I do know that it's opposite "Bones" and as long as "Bones" is showing original episodes I'll only be peeking in on "Jericho".

Someone named Lena Headey has been chosen to play Sarah Connor in the TV version of "The Terminator". She's gorgeous and I find it hard to picture her in the role (she's also British though look what Hugh Laurie has done). Linda Hamilton was a pretty woman who was willing to make herself look like an ordinary woman thrust into an extraordinary role - the mother of the savior of humanity. It's only the pilot so it may not even become a series or if they make it into a series Lena may no longer be Sarah - remember Biff Regan?*

BTW for Linda Hamilton fans "Beauty and the Beast" S1 is coming out on DVD in February. I loved the series way back when (OMG can it really be 19 years?) until it took a very wrong turn in the third season.

*She played Willow in the BtVS pilot.

Biff Regan? I always wondered what that actress felt with how Aly Hannigan has gone on to do so much work and has gorgeous Alexis and is so successful and happy. Wonder if she thinks that could have been me?!

Terminator films were our faves. My fave line from a movie "I crossed time for you..." Just wonderful. :D

I adored T2 (I even dreamt up a sequel hee hee). By the time T3 came out I was 12 years older, it was after 9/11 and there was no Linda Hamilton :( or Edward Furlong (good-bye continuity) so I lost interest.
If the pilot airs I'll probably give it a try for old times sake but I don't have much hope that it'll be watchable but you never know.

I liked the "Come with me if you want to live" line that Reese said in the first movie which was repeated in the second by the T2.

I went to imdb.com and looked up Biff Regan but they only had 1 movie credit for her and that was in 1992. The whole what if must be very hard for her. I wonder if the pilot is somehere on the web?

Yes I think it is. Peeps used to talk about it. I've only ever seen that photo of them all but with her as Willow. Really weird. I don't think it would have been such a success without Ally. It's sheer luck if they get a cast right and the writing and if everything gels then it's magic, but if not...bleurgh.

I quite like T3 though. Makes you think....I even dreamt about it. Quite fascinating. We all loved Michael Beinh and then he was in our other fave...Aliens II. :D

Edward Furlong was very fanciable and I thought he was gonna go far when he got older, but he went off the rails didn't he, like Corey and River and them. Stupid, these young ones....

Edward Furlong is still acting (he was on "CSI:NY" recently) so maybe he's gotten his act together. Michael Biehn (and yes I too think he's a doll) has also been in stuff none of which I've seen (according to IMDB he was in a movie called "Susan's Plan" which I guess I should watch somethime *g*)

I wonder if T4 will ever happen - though probably without Schwarzenegger as he's been re-elected governor of California.
