I dunno! How interesting...I only came online in late 2001 so haven't known peeps that long...I met you on mmslashemails didn't I? *hugs* I sortov 'met' Rune (debauched_angel) at SFX Blackpool...well a lot of Spikettes were in a lift and Buddy (http://whimsicalnotion.livejournal.com/profile) brought Rune to meet us but I'm frightened of lifts and didn't want to get out as I felt I'd never get back in! I thought I could meet her later. So we waved and my last memory is of Rune and Buddy stood there looking rather nonplussed and then the lift descended to the basement of Castle Norbreck by mistake and we all screamed. The doors opened onto green brick cellar walls and I had an image of us being lost down there forever. It was hilarious (you had to be there) and it's one of my favourite memories. :D Rune's gonna come on now and say it wasn't her! OMg my memory sucks!

Rune was one of the first people I wrote to when I discovered BtVS fanfic (I miss MIB *sigh*). Edibbea was a bit later and she has gafiated from fandom.

One of my cousins won't go in elevators and her sister won't go on escalators. It makes going places with them really interesting *g*

I do go in lifts, but it's an iffy business! I'm very careful on escalators, I stare at my feet and if the stairs fell away I'd be for jumping over the side! You can never be too careful. ;)

Lots of peeps have deserted the fandom but the world moves on...I wish it didn't have to, coz there's been nothing as good to replace BtVS or AtS or the fanfiction and related good times. ::sigh::

I actually was stuck in an elevator for about a half an hour between floors and then the lights went out. There is nothing so dark as an elevator without light. It was in a very fancy building in Sutton Place too so it obviously could happen anywhere but I still go on them.

I don't see leaving fandom in the foreseeable future.

Sutton Place is a rather fancy area of Manhattan. People like Tina Brown and I.M. Pei live there.

We'll probably be among the last of the original wave of fans as we sit in our rocking chairs in a nursing home with our netbooks in front of us *g*
